Eka Rudram is a Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva, focusing on the Sri Rudram hymn from the Krishna Yajurveda. In this pooja, Sri Rudram (Namakam and Chamakam) is recited once with proper Vedic intonations, typically by a group of Vedic priests or scholars. It is performed to invoke Lord Shiva's divine grace for purification, protection, and fulfillment of desires. Eka Rudram forms the base of larger rituals like Laghu Rudram, Maha Rudram, and Ati Rudram.
