Lakshmi Pooja is performed on Amavasya (New Moon) night during Diwali, the festival of lights. Devotees worship Goddess Lakshmi—the deity of wealth and prosperity—along with Lord Ganesha, to remove obstacles and invite abundance into their homes. It’s the most important ritual of the five-day Diwali celebration.
